Deep Fried shrimp with egg batter and cornmeal and Fried Milkfish marinated with lemon juice,pepper and salt ( toppings, fresh tomatoes and onion with olive oil for taste ).

 




 Fried Shrimp

INGREDIENTS:
  1. 2 lbs whole Shrimp
  2. 1/2 Tablespoon Salt
  3. 2 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 4 tablespoon of cornmeal

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Wash Shrimp thoroughly and drain.
  2. Add Salt,cornmeal and mix with egg batter until it's fully distributed
  3. Place wok over high heat.
  4. Add vegetable oil.
  5. Add Shrimp and  fry until fully cooked or until all shrimp turned orange or brown in color



Fried Milkfish

INGREDIENTS:
1 Medium size Milk Fish
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 small cup lemon juice
1/2 Teaspoon ground black pepper        
5 Cloves garlic – finely minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

MARINATING THE FISH:
1.Cut fish into 2 pieces.
2.Combine all the ingredients in large Tupperware big enough to hold the fish.
3.Transfer the fish in the Tupperware with the meat side down and submerged in marinade.
4.Cover Tupperware and keep in the fridge for at least 4-5 hours.

DIRECTIONS:
1.Set a large frying pan on a medium-high heat.
2.Add 1 cup vegetable oil.
3.When the oil is hot, carefully slide fish into the pan with the skin part down.
4.Fry 2 pieces at a time to keep the oil hot.
5.Fry the fish until both sides are golden brown.

I like having mine crispy and with the toppings of  diced tomatoes, onions, salt, and few drops of olive oil. So yummy! Join me now...
